Lubricate the base and snap the stem squarely into the rim using a valve-puller. Attach to the sensor and tighten the stem screw to the sensor maker’s spec (typically in-lb range). Inflate and leak-check with soapy water. Tighten cores lightly (2-4 in-lb). Replace stems whenever sensors are serviced to ensure long-term sealing. Periodically check caps and cores for debris and proper seating.
