Sensors may have marks / discoloration or scratches that are not service affecting, They live inside the tire. Sensors are not blank or programmable. Tire only needs bead to be broken to install. Do not have to remove tire completely from wheel. You will need to have your vehicle “relearn” these sensors. This can be done several ways depending on vehicle. Some vehicles learn them just by driving. Can be done by tool that most tire shops have. If a tire shop is not able to test them before installing, then steer clear from them. They do not have to be installed to test battery or function. Some vehicles can be done by yourself (read owners manual or search YouTube). Go to dealership to have done.
