It varies, every vehicle is different and some shorter RVs require a booster whilst some longer ones do not depending on construction, monitor location, etc. We generally recommend that you uy a system without a booster to start with as it is easy to add a booster later if you are not getting the range. What is the range of the sensors? Again it varies from rig to rig as noted above. We have customers with 45′ motor homes and towed vehicles who are receiving fine without booster whilst other have required a booster. Will the sensors affect the balance on my wheels? It is extremely unlikely as these sensors are the lightest on the market. We have not had any customer mention a problem with tire balance from our sensors. Some sensors from other manufacturers are considerably larger and heavier and could possibly affect balance. How easy is it to add air to my tires? As easy as removing the valve cap. Every vehicle is different and some shorter rigs require a booster whilst some longer ones do not depending on construction, monitor location, etc. In most cases an 14 wheel rig will require a booster so we always include a booster in this size system. What is the range of the sensors? Again it varies from rig to rig as noted above however in an ideal system without a booster expected range is 60 feet (20m).
